Happy Thanksgiving! I don't have to drive anywhere. Some of the family lives north of my house and some live south. My place is the most convenient destination for everyone. Good thing I like to cook.
Only going about 5 miles from home. Only required to bring one item for the meal. This year it shall be Leek Bread Pudding. A savory, custardy, leek and cheese concoction. Photos to be proffered later.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I will be driving to from Dallas to Houston tomorrow -- a miserable drive. I'm leaving the MINI at home, and driving a rental. I was supposed to go today, but I got home late last night after shooting 7 cars in five locations in two states on the East coast. I was toast. I slept about ten hours straight last night. The real fun starts on Saturday, when I drive to Port Arthur to visit my best friend and his family. On Saturday I'm thinking I need to get a po-boy from Amuny's Liquor Store. We used to go there for lunch back in high school. Yes, we ate lunch at a liquor store. Awesome sandwiches! On Sunday, his wife and I will do some serious cooking. CD
It's more like 70 miles for me. I'll bring the cranberries and also my mulled apple cider...w/ Applejack on the side for those who want to spike.
Happy Thanksgiving, it is good I am not going anywhere, the ice is starting to slick up here in Colorado, it will be a ***** in the morning. I think I will have Chili tomorrow. Perhaps a small turkey next week when the traveling wife gets home. Take care and be safe. Don
Happy T-Day everyone! Trying something new this year... Its called "staying away from my family" after 32 years of holidays going the same way and ending in a huge fight, I'm out! So I have 2 places on my list of places to go tomorrow in the snow that's starting to fall here... One up in the mountains with new friends, and I will be sneaking away from there for a little while to hang out with Teresa & Erik... Going to be a fun day! ..........................
Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone! We are staying home and entertaining some other empty nesters who really have nothing better to do than to come here and stuff themselves along with us!
Wishing you guys a day filled with fun, food, and football......and thank you Nathan for Motoring Alliance!!
Happy T-Day people. Lets all be thankful for what we have...we live in the greatest country of all. And lets all be thankful for all the people that can't be with their family today because they are protecting us.
Happy Thanksgiving friends! No footsball for me, I've got a bunch of ERC rallies in the DVR waiting to be watched.
