2nd Gen R56 Cooper S Has anyone installed the Ford Focus SVT LSD in their R56?

    Was just churning through a few threads and there was mention that it was a direct bolt in for the Mini transmission. Was that R53 only, or does it work for R56? Wondering if it might be a good bang for the buck upgrade. (Looks like they are about $600).

    Any opinions on this?

    Happens to be the OS Giken.... But somewhere in the bowels of M/A he also did the Ford unit... I'll post it if I can track it down...
