Long time car guy, but new to the Mini. A couple of weeks ago I picked up a '07 MCS and so far I like it a lot. I'm the second owner and although a high mileage car it looks and drives like new. Hoping to find some Mini owners in southern VA to share knowledge with and maybe a trip to VIR.
You're probably closer to us at Hampton Roads club MINI Hampton Roads Club Mini - Home out here in SE VA. We have events all across the state. Also checkout our facebook page, search HRMINI conquors the world. And yes, conquers is spelled wrong. I didn't set up the page. Also check out RVA MINIs on their facebook page too. Hope to see ya at an event soon!
Thanks for the info Dale. I'm about four hours west of you, but I'll keep an eye on your clubs FB page for events that I can make it to. I actually live about 20 minutes from VIR. Thanks for the welcome guys. I'm still trying to learn everything I can about this car. I've found some good things about the car and yes, more than a few things that are a little worrisome. But, what the heck, it's a fun car to drive and it's not my primary transportation so I'll drive it 'til it breaks. I can always wrap my azz in fiberglass until I get it fixed. And when the weather gets bad the mini will be parked in the storage building along side the Vette. Now i'm back to prowling the site to learn more about this Scangauge I just bought. I have never owned a car so lacking in instrumentation as this Mini.:confused5:
Welcome to the coolest MINI forum on the net...... Don't be scared to show off that MINI.....We LOVE pictures...:cornut:
Welcome to the MINI World and M/A. Your lucky to have VIR in your back yard. Its little over 3 hours from Hampton Roads.
