Just wanted to introduce myself to the boards. I am the proud owner of a new to me '03 MCS with sport package. Have only had it three weeks now, but I LOVE IT! What a great, solid lil car. After wanting one for quite some time, I am so glad to call one my own!

Have only gotten around to tint, but have ordered CAI, 15%pulley, and will be upgrading the ignition system. . .also, waiting to take possession of some new wheels, the 17'' S-lites, I plan on powder coating to matte black. . .and then , maybe mod the suspension, but so far I have been really impressed with the stock, so I dunno. . .SO hard to fight the MOD bug!!

I look forward to learning from al of you, and contributing when I can. Thanks for having me, see ya around!

    Sorry....
    See Jim's comment....

    Just kidding....
    Just saw your question.
To tell the truth, I can't really tell. I'm not sure how much the strut towers normally flex. The R56 always felt tight. But if they did flex, they have to flex less now.

I started out with an earlier design where I was going to have an eccentric cam to take up any looseness in the strut to strut dimension. But I soon realized that would not tie the strut bar down as solidly as making it non adjustable as a fully welded structure.

So... That's it in a nutshell.

    Hey TATTRAT, welcome.

Since you're in NoVa/DC area, you might want to check out DC Metro MINI's at DC Metro MINIs or our club, Hampton Roads club MINI at www.hrmini.com

Both clubs are very active and have lots of events to attend.

Never mind, I see you're already over at DC Metro MINI's!
