    Hello;

    I'm new to this forum and have around 2000 miles on my first MINI. A 2013 JCW GP, number 278. My previous car was a Ford Focus SVT, which I really enjoyed but was having reliability problems with, so I took the plunge and purchased the GP. It is presently stock, with the exception of all weather tires and SATNAV. I am really enjoying the car but am presently seeking out aftermarket shocks in order to smooth the ride a bit. I expect to keep the car mostly stock, to maintain the spirt of the car, but have left room for mods if only to fine tune the car, rather than "change" it. I do most of my driving at night, on the backroads around Marin County Ca. To say I am a bit addicted would be an understatement. Fun Fun Fun! So, hello, to you all.

    Are the all weather tires run flats? If so, a change to conventional tires will smooth out the ride substantially....
