I am new here, I found this sight looking for information about tracking production of my new Hyde Park MINI. I had a 2007 previously. My husband knew I always wanted one and bought it for me to basically get out of the dog house after forgetting my birthday. But it was not my dream MINI, when we traded it in on his dream truck he said I could buy my dream MINI, I have been watching and trying to decided what I wanted for awhile. When I saw the new Hyde Park I fell in love. Hope to have it to drive on my birthday in October. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge. Wish I had tuned in just a week or so earlier, I may have made different choices but I think I will love it as I ordered it. Now if it would just get here, it is going to be a long 8 weeks or so.:
Welcome from another newbie. I saw a Hyde Park model at a recent Cars and Coffee. It is a neat looking package. I am sure it will be worth the wait.
I got my production number today. On owners lounge it has a different cars info. Good thing I know not to panic from reading this forum. The stalking has begun.
Hello, from a fairly new member, too! Re: stalking, oh my yes. Ordered my 2012 MCS early Feb, built 2/24, delivered 3/28 after an extra week figuring out the ECU programming on the JCW tuning kit I'd ordered. "Watched" the ship leave S'hampton, "watched" it dock in Baltimore (for my STL delivery). Was chagrined that I couldn't track the truck it was on from Baltimore to STL...now that's a sickness! I spotted it in STL at lunch, driving from our dealer's cleanup shop to the MINI service center, and even stalked it there before final delivery. Visited it in the shop while they were figuring out coding. So yes: I'm a certified MINI-stalker! Enjoy!
I wish I lived close enough to go by the dealership. Actually I live 4 to 5 hours drive from 3 different dealerships, smack in the middle of the biggest mini void there is, Kansas. I lived in OKC when I got my first one. Went with the same MA and dealership this time. My husband and I will drive down to get her as soon as she is here. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait.
