I have a 2012 Mini Hardtop. I just noticed, I don't think it was there before, that where the hood closes and meets around the headlight, that there is a space that you can see through to the side of the headlight housing. It is on the right side. It is definitely bigger than the space on the left side. I'm not talking gaping hole, but just doesn't fit the same on both sides. The faring (sp) fits the same on both sides and hood looks level from the front. Got scheduled to take in Monday, but wanted to know if anyone had had this problem before.:mad2:

If one side of the bonnet isn't level, you will find two black rubber screw adjusters #14 towards the front on the sheet metal trim by the top of the radiator closest to each headlight assembly. If one is not adjusted properly (they screw in or out) it could change the gap around the headlight. Since yours is still under warranty, just let the dealer adjust it.
