Hey guys. I know this is driver dependent, but I want to know how long the OEM Continentials should be lasting. I was told if you get 15k+ miles out of the runflats, you're doing well. I'm curious because I was told it was time to get new ones and I just bought the car 2 months ago.

Front to rear tire rotation is the key to tire longevity on a MINI. Every few thousand miles is good or after every Auto-X or Track Day.

Tire life is very driver dependent, there have been reports of people getting 30K miles plus, but they must drive in a very relaxed manner. I'd venture to say that for a spirited driver 10-12K miles for the runflats.

I think we have those on our Cooper Clubman

and the fronts were bald at about 12k, put them on the rear (that looked new) and we're at about 22k with a few more thousand to go. Rears haven't changed appreciably since moving to the rear...

For my 02 MCS, the runflats (goodyears, I think) made 11k miles and were toast.

No matter the tire, going to -2 front camber pretty much doubled tire life. No on my 02, I get about 20k+ per set. Before that, it was about 10k-13k a set.

Driving style really makes a difference cause of the near vertical front tires.... Freeway driving they'll last forever. Agressive driving on a track, and they're shot in two days (ask me how I know....)

Awesome! Thanks for the responses guys! I've put 5k miles on the car but they have been almost exclusively highway (I know at least 4k are) which is why I asked. No aggressive driving (yet :D). Just trying to get a feel for how long others lasted.
