    Our banned user list is a whopping 19 strong and contains only spammers. I clear that list out and remove the offenders that are a year old once a month. The names and email addresses get added to a list that prevents them from registering again. My thought is the membership number should be kept honest and not reflect the numbers of banned users that are just number stuffing. While there is a short term cost as advertisers see a lower number I believe that in the long term it is a benefit.
