I just found out that my love and I are about to have a mini-me!

I am excited and thought this should clear up any confusions as to if I was still alive or not on the forums!

Luckily, the Ms. hughes has a Envoy! :cornut: aka baby shuttle.

I just hope to goodness I can stop crying with G forces and high velocity off-ramping'. As long as my lilttle mini-me loves my MINI-car I will be a happy father! LOL

    You'll have no worries there...

both my kids have been saying "Drive Faster Daddy!" basically since they were verbal. They like the forces they feel. And the both prefer to ride on my 02 MCS instead of the wife's clubman or the family hauler, and MDX. Go figure! They have a lot less leg room, but then again, they get to kick the front seats easier as well!

You know, they could be asking you to drive faster for some other reasons. Grandpa.

    congratulations!

We sold our 06 MCS because of concerns about the ease of getting a baby seat in and out, but in the end, it wasn't necessary. MINIs are baby friendly, though I see that Envoy will do most of the shuttling. But if you put a seat in the MINI too, the Graco Snugride worked well for us. We're now awaiting receipt of a Clubman, but the coupe would have been fine.

Congrats! Will the name be Coop, Cooper, or Clubby? I think Countryman would be a bit out in left field

Congratulations! And, don't let anyone talk you out of your MINI. I did, and regretted every minute of it until I got another. Now, we are a two MINI family with two kids, ages 6 and 2. You can definitely make it work!
