I love LA!

This guy is a porn "star" and shows up to super car Sundays in WH . He gave me his business card to give to Jay Leno as he thinks he would be a good guest on the show. Only in L.A :crazy:

It is a Daytona coupe kit from Factory Five racing. There were only six originals built and you won't see one on the road--even in LA.

There is one in Fairfax, Northern VA. Get to see it about once a month at the Cars and Coffee in Great Falls. SOUNDS AMAZING. Looks are stunning.

 

As was mentioned it is a factory Five kit but well sorted for track . We were comparing notes on local venues and he says he has a lot of time off because he is a " porn star ". Not really a big deal as we live in the porn capitol anyway but he was quite proud of his achievement . I had mentioned earlier what a great car guy Jay Leno is and how he comes by our meet now and then and has a interest in all kinds of cars , even Minis LOL. Somehow from that he must have thought Jay and I are " tight " ( not at all ) and gave me his card to pass on . We get upwards of 10 to 20 of the cobra clones on any given Sunday and his is the most track orientated that I have seen . We have one of the original 12 competition cobras show now and then and most likely the upgraded kit car would give it quite a going over IMHO.

A well prepared factory five car would kill an original on the track. Either a Cobra or Daytona. 45 years of technology is tough to beat. I still want to build a Daytona coupe (or GT 40 replica) when I finish my racecar build.

 

It is still a winning formula after all these years and factory five knows it. BIG motor with gobs of HP and torque stuffed into a rigid light weight chassis with huge tires = get the flock out of my way!!!!
