    Follow me here, see if my reasoning is reasonable.

    Using the BMW VIN Decoder for all BMW Vehicles from 01/1928 to 11/2013 including: Motorcycles, MINI and Rolls Royce I looked up my VIN.

    The last 7 characters of Gnat's VIN are TN29666. The production date given for that VIN is 11/27/2006. I started looking for higher VINs with TN29690. Nothing there. Dropped it TN29680, still nothing. Found one at TN29675, started adding 1 from there. TN29677 was the last one, also has a production date 11/27/2006. If I am correct there were only 10 more 2006 MINIs built after mine. 7 Chili Red, 2 Royal Grey Metallic and 1 Space Blue.

    Long live the 1st. Gen. !! I would like to have the very last one built, would be very cool, still neat to think yours was probably built the last day they were producing the 1st. gen. MINI
