No, I am not going to replace the coil...only the bolts. I removed one of the bolts and found that there was a sleve around the bolt and the bolt would not come out. Is there some way to get the bolt out?j What is the purpose of the sleve? I am replacing the bolts to the coil as part of an engine dress up kit. I thought I would ask first, rather than cry later. Thanks, Teddy

They are so you can tighten the bolds but the coil is still suspended on the rubber grommets. I am sure you can get them out but have not tried.

The bolts go into a brass nut that is part of the valve cover. If one is spinning and not coming out leave it alone because the brass nut has lost contact with the valve cover. You will never get it out unless you cut it off. Trust me I know after haveing to buy a new / used valve cover.

The brass nut is sunk into the plastic with heat and over time or over tightening the connection breaks loose and the nutt and bolt just spin.
