I'm new here - just signed up... I see a place for the Blue Ridge Parkway Tour, and a place for MOT - and yet no place for the event that connects the 2! The GREAT Ice Cream Run
Had no idea there was such an event. M/A would be happy to promote the 2010 version. I've just built a new wing on the Library for articles about events. If you would please write a recap of the 2009 event we'd be happy to publish it.
No guarantee there will be a 2010 version. TGICR first ran in 2007 and we went from FL to ME - the entire east coast - and then fed into MOT. This year the plan was modified to "bridge" the Blue Ridge Parkway Tour and MOT. I was one of the few people who did the entire run in 2007 - plus MOT - 10 days of driving in the MINI - and it was on TGICR that I turned over 100K. Good times and lots of ice cream!

Well, back in 2007 I did the entire run for TGICR - FL to ME - and then went to MOT right afterwards - it was a fun 10 days of motoring! Not enough time off this year - so I only did 2 days of TGICR2. There's no guarantee that there will be a TGICR3, but if there is I'll persuade Robyn to post it here...
