I just had to be the first to post in the Classic section of the forum. So here's a pic. Hope you all like it.
Oh man, I so could have beat you...but I've been so busy working on mine I haven't posted much. This was the day (7/14) I sold my Revolutions to put on the Superlite 12x6's...which have already given way to Superlite 13x7's!
Well, I guess I'm the third then. I've got a 1980 Cabrio which I have for sale (although I'm not trying real hard.)
Charlotte NC Here a link to my CL ad... Really would hate to see it go but I don't have the time to really enjoy it and I could use the funds elseware Classic Mini Convertible
Since this is a new forum I'll cut the administrators a tiny bit of slack, but let's get it fixed right at the start. This section should be titled Classic Mini NOT Classic MINI Nit-picky? Yes. Small potatoes? Maybe, but BMW decided to brand their new car the MINI in all capitals to separate the branding from the classics, so who am I to argue? Just trying to keep the new kids on the straight and narrow. Confused yet? This is my classic 1968 Riley Elf. Thankfully BMW hasn't tried to build a new Riley Elf yet.
At least since July. I don't remember if it was in the original build plan or not and I've tossed the file long ago.
I've seen your car at the Mini Meet in MN, and the euro fest at the BMW factory in SC. And I LOVE IT. Makes me want to find a Riley. You should post more pics and info on the build, it would be a good read. Plus I know that Vtec makes it fast.
Thanks! Glad you like it. I don't feel like uploading a whole new photo gallery, but there are quite a few pics here: Riley Rehab - a set on Flickr
