    Well we are in Dodge City,KS. Yes I know it's a day early but I am on my own schedule. Uneventfull drive across US 54, HOT and HUMID' was 106* for most of the trip, hope your AC is working well. Thunderstorms just moved thru now a relatively comfortable 85*.

    That part of the state is boring and FLAT. They should have taken 70 and gone through Hays:cool:

    Partially true west of US-183 it gets flat but midwestern to eastern its hilly.

    Perhaps you should give Nate a few pointers when you reach Winter Park.

    Did I mention I learned to ski there back in 1969?? With our Army ID, it cost $10.00 for an all day lift ticket. Check out the prices now. :yikes:

    And I think all day tix were still only $10 then too, plus you could get $2 off at one of the grocery chains in Denver - maybe Albertsons?

    Ahhhh, remember it well. None of us knew what we were doing back then, so when the slope looked too steep, we hit the wine skin until the slope looked flatter. :eek6:
