2nd Gen R57 Convertible Instrument Glass Face??

    The Glass face on my tach and "Openometer(Convert.) have what appears to be water spots on the inside of the glass. I tried opening the instrument from the back to get to the face with no luck. Tried unscrewing the lens from the front, no luck.
    Anyone know the secret to getting the lens off, without using a small ballpeen hammer or can opener ??

    Did you remove the gauge cluster from the steering column? On the underside, there is a sticker that covers a tab. Releasing the tab will allow you to separate the front and back gauge covers (also remove the screws in back).
