I did, on the iPad Mini first as I didn't want to mess with phone till I know it would run OK for me. The iPad downloaded it just fine, but it took many tries to get it installed. I read lots of reports of other with the same issues. Did the iPhone 5 later in the evening with no problems. So far so good for the most part, there were a lot of apps that then needed an update too. Some of the apps really changed the look and feel. Like Zite, where navication locations changed from the top to the bottom of the screen. NY Times went from bottom to top. It's going to take a bit of getting used to after so many years of the previous incarnations of iOS. At first I was like meh... Now that I've had some time with iOS 7 it is growing on me.
I did on both my iPad and iPhone. I really like it, no problems yet. I'm going to do my company iPad today.
iOS 7 is causing havoc for the networks of several college campuses and other schools where a large number of iOS device users are attempting to download the new OS. Some schools, including The Ohio State University, is even urging students to delay upgrading to iOS 7 as the network experiences network problems due to the high amount of traffic.
Updated my iPhone 4S yesterday afternoon. A couple of things are slow to open (mailing out of Photo, Facebook), but run fine when they do. Seems to drain the battery quicker, but that may just be me needing to go back into Preferences and adjusting some settings. It is beautiful. I've been using Yahoo!'s weather app for a while, and it anticipated the new look, so it's not much of a surprise.
Updated my iPhone 5 and iPad last night. love it on my iPhone.. so far so good. I haven't played with the iPad yet... Chris
I got it on my 4S and iPad 2. I like it a lot, but it will definitely take some getting used to. It's odd to me that people want to "wait for all the bugs to get out" as if it is some fresh, untested operating system. It's been in Beta for months, and believe me, it was BUGGY. Over these months, however, they have fixed nearly all the bugs. There will always be bugs, that's why the release subsequent, smaller updates (i.e., 7.0.1 or whatever). But anyway, that's my two cents.
