The IRC ran the Sanremo rally this weekend. Here's where Juno Hanninen ended up on Stage 4:

Usually when a rally driver crashes and he lands on his wheels he restarts the car and hits the gas...and, I assume because it was dark and he couldn't see where he was, he did! Fortunately it looks like the car was high-centered and wouldn't budge.

    Yes, there is video.

That first step must have been a bit of an eye opener.

Word is the co-driver was the first to figure out where they were as that's his voice on the video saying what translates to "Let it go, we're on top of a house."

Damned lucky he landed safely on the privy. Oh carp moment for sure. What struck me about this was the guard rail along the road was of the same design that almost killed Robert Kubica.

I like the driver interview. "I pushed a little too hard, we rolled and ended up over there"

Never mind the body man. The guys in the pic are from the team and I assume they're trying to figure out how to get it down...you know, without scratching the paint. :biggrin5:

:cornut: Maybe they could just try flushing the commode, but then again, out houses don't usually have running water.:lol::Thumbsup:
