Or does the human race now seem to have their heads so far up their own asses that they forgot that other people live on this planet and yes, they have to share???????

I'm so sick of people not knowing how to drive... like driving down the middle of 2 lanes! PICK ONE!

And today I stop to get lunch and this guy is standing right at the middle of the condiment station cutting his roll and buttering it so others, like myself can't get a quick utensil so I can leave. MOVE OVER OR TO AN EMPTY TABLE!

Don't even get me starting about the grocery store... I still find it hard to believe that one person and their cart and take up an entire aisle..... but HEY! SOMEHOW THEY ACCOMPLISH THIS?!

    Sorry, rant over.

I use the pardon, pardon with generic faked European accent at the coffee/condiment stations most of the time. Have you considered a bicycle horn in the Super market, I have. Sometimes people just don’t know how to act when they are in public, Store's should post rules of the road / isles and provide horns on the carts. One of those emergency boat air horns from sporting goods would get some attention. I was in a small natural foods store yesterday and ran into the same situation. Considered being just as oblivious as the isle blocker and accidentally on purpose ramming the cart but tact took over, just said Pardon, pardon and she made a small self derogatory comment about being spaced out, smiled, then moved the cart. Have a nice day:smilewinkgrin:

I totally agree!!!! We have turned into a society of "It's all about me!" This has even spilled into my family. Completely sucks.

I blame the fact that we are no longer able to smack our children, making it more difficult to discipline and teach them. I can only imagine the arrogant bastard I would have turned out to be, if not for the several well deserved smacks from my mother.

Ahhhhh, here in Ohio we recently passed "conceal and carry" laws. Starting to see more people being a little more understanding.... Or maybe it's just my imagination. Hell, you can even bring it with you to the local bar / tavern.
    Somehow its the great equalizer...:D

Opposite side of the scale in Kali. Our governor just signed the law making it illegal to open carry hand guns. But apparently I can still walk down the street with my AK-47 on my shoulder. Morons.

    Hi KittyMini

People just don't care. I was in back of a guy the other day and when the light changed to green he just sat there. I tapped my horn and he gave ME the finger. I live in Florida and do carry a gun but I don't think a person can shoot someone for being just plain stupid. I did feel like shooting him though.

Well now that "absolute" morality is not PC, people make up their own morality for themselves.......and we see what happens  Look at communism, and more recently what is happening in the Middle East. If a people or country use the morality standard of a human person or even persons, you get only chaos.

Manners seem to be a forgotten art by many. I try my best to be well mannered and teach my children the same. Some people are just to lazy and need a good beating for being stupid in no stupid zones

I agree and that is way I stay away form any place that claims to be a "Family Restaurant", because I read that as uncontrolled kids running everyplace:D

I had this "odd-looking family" (let's just leave it at that) yesterday while I while at the liquor store, block the ENTIRE way out of the store, so momma could get another free sample of hootch and swig it before they left the store......
    REALLY????? :mad2:

It is for many people affected by it & those that live in the same world as them.

Advice for all my friends: Life is too short to let this kind of carp get to you. Just sit back chill-out & enjoy the show. :beer

When it was your grandparents making comments like this about 'the state the world has come to', they were old farts, out of time.

But I'm guessing that now it's you saying exactly the same thing, it's down to an actual decline in moral standards, and certainly not suggesting in any way that you are becoming an old fart, right? :frown2:
