MINI’s been busy on the ‘Ring lately. This time they’re back with the upcoming Coupe – in JCW flavor no less – doing final suspension testing. It’s also killing birds. Yes that’s a dead bird flying through the ‘Ring wedged in the Coupe’s grille. Look for the JCW Coupe to debut shortly after the standard Cooper and Cooper S this fall (dead bird optional). 1. Is it for sure a JCW, and not a bunch of parts cobble together (like the other mules appear to be)? 2. Isn't it time to lose the hood scoop already? It's not functional. 3. European or African swallow? :biggrin5:
I was sold on it in the beginning, but the latest pics I've seen I'm going to wait awhile on it..Will admit that is the best looking one I've seen lately.. That is not counting the 2 cool proto-types from ways back.. I believe the scoop is here to stay, part of the icon features now.. they do keep smoothing out the bonnet/scoop area... What's with the black tape covering the MINI logo on the bonnet?? Not like no one knows whats under there..
