After 8+ years it was time to let my beloved LY '05 Convertible Justa go. With the heavy heart the car was sold with only 65,814 miles on the speedometer.

To relieve some of the separation anxiety a suitable replacement was found to take it's place in the garage. Not sure what else to say, so here is a quick and crappy iPhone pic:

Gonna try to take some better pics once it stops raining and I get it washed. So far, it is definitely a fun ride.

It's 2011 S Drive 3.5 IS with an M package. They don't really have an M version of this car. Think 135i M. Same idea. Different bumpers, M steering wheel and door sills, slight bump in HP, adjustable suspension.

Yes, I do still have the M5.

And before anyone asks, I still have a Mini, also. 06 JCW.

Nice. You are a poster-child for BMW performance vehicles. I have garage envy. :D

Forum friendly answer would be: "I make sure my wife is happy."

 well that's the main thing

Not sure what you would pay for a car like that but......she, my wife, wants a new sports car, still mad that I made her get rid of her 2003 Z4, looked at a new 2013 Z4 :eek6: OMG! $72,000  Did look at a 06 SLK 280 at carmax couple weeks ago, $24,000 then add another $2500 for a warranty. Very cool though

Well, I am just going to say that buying used saves a lot of that $72k. This particular specimen was a BMW executive's car. Only has 2400 miles on it and technically speaking I am the first registered owner. I.E. it ran around with manufacturer plates on it. Still has most of its warranty through 2015. It was a deal I could live with.
