Any tips on knock sensor replacement for a R53? I've had a on and off again relationship with a P0326 Knock Sensor SES light that doesn't seem to be related to any condition or specific brand of fuel. I'm at 119,000 miles, so I wouldn't be suprised to have a bum sensor. I already have a new sensor in hand, but it looks like pulling the intake manifold is in order to get at it. Other than the fact that I should've replaced this sensor when I pulled the supercharger back in April, any tips?

    Thanks,
    Jason

Should've mentioned it in my original post, but I did check to confirm that the connector is fully inserted and snapped into place.

I will be listening. I got that code a month or so ago for the first time while I was starting the car. Sooner or later I am figuring I may have to know this too.

Thanks, Professor, just what I didn't want to hear :mad2:

Since I did that job not more than a few months ago, I guess I shouldn't have any issues with seized fasteners.

Crashton: bring over some doughnuts and I'll show you the step by step process :biggrin5:
