Well, that didn’t take long. Although the internet debut of the F54 Clubman is scheduled for tomorrow 10am EST, a French MINI/BMW dealer just published photos of the latest MINI on their Facebook page. As anticipated, the exterior design is very close to the concept presented at Geneva last year. We’re also quite happy about […]

Yea your right. But the longer car makes the front look more in proportion

I wish I could have got a clubvan

I have always wondered why MINI has stuck with the black wheel arches. I think they look so much better painted and in this case would hide what looks like a broken piece of trim.

This is another example of how my opinion of the design changes drastically based on the camera angle. I'm not a fan of white roofs on the Clubman, Countryman, or Paceman, so my attention was more drawn to the Cooper in these pictures. I was kind of feeling the looks based on the pics from the front and the 3/4 views, but the shot of the rear from straight on killed the whole thing for me.

I do like the looks of the interior and really like the looks of those blue leather seats.

First the Paceman, now this... What is with MINI putting taillights that look like they are off of a Toyota Carola on special MINIs? They look hideous! That is the only reason I have a Countryman and not a Paceman, too me its the kind of ugly you cant get used to or fix.

While this is not a Shut-up-and-take-my-money situation, it's an improvement on recent efforts. For the record, MINI's got new competition with their bloating size demographic. Here's what they are now competing with:

Looking at it again after thinking about the examples that Eric posted and the statement above, I'm better with the design. Still don't like the design from the back. Would prefer there be more width in the cabin instead of the body extending wider than the greenhouse or the body to line up with the greenhouse and there be some large wheel flares.

For me all the back end needs is the taillights rotated 90 degrees and shrunken a bit. The rest of the look from the rear I am OK with.

Rumor has it they want to use the Ford Flex logo too, they just haven't figured out how to make it 2D yet.
