The jury seems divided on who's fault it was, as do the comments that followed the article.

I'd love to see the video. The Mac nad a GoPro mounted on the quarter window pointing forward, if the Mac driver is in the right, you'd think he'd want to post the vid.

Or hear from the corner workers who watched it happen.......

That's the thing with yer modern lightweight supercars - no real strength.

Back when crash testing was first introduced in the UK, cars were driven head-on into a concrete block. Bristol achieved some fame at the time by hitting the block.... and cracking it, requiring a new block. That's what you get for using a traditional chassis on a large car, something like a Bristol 410:

For those who don't know of them, Bristol were an odd British speciality car that endured right up until recently. The largest Chrysler V8 was fitted to a handmade body that was intended to be discrete rather than ostentatious and provided fast motoring for four. The car for a gentleman, who thought a Bentley was a bit too vulgar and well, frankly, something from a production line....

I'd rather be in a car that dissipates energy when it crashes. Not much good if the car survives unscathed while the driver dies.

:cornut: Money can't buy common sense. In my case, my lovely wife had to beat it into me and it's still a work in progress.
