It is a little early to tell. Keep an eye ion this as the new year approaches, the traffic for this sort of thing will pick up once registration opens on Jan 9.

Anybody know any details on the campground at the base of the dam? I will be rolling out of Denver Friday after work, staying a night in Clarksville TN (Ft. Campbell) and heading to Fontana sometime the next day... Problem is, the CO./Chicago Derivative wont be there until Tuesday. So its looking like a couple nights in a tent for me. Which is great, going to be short on tent time without the Jeep, until I can find some wheelchair (not much clearance) accessible camping areas in the mountains.
It's owned by the resort. The spaces are pretty big from what I've seen. Often a few people can share one. Call Fontana for rates and such.

Thanks Nathan. Wasnt hardly anybody I saw down there last year, so booking that shouldn't be a problem. I know one thing $70 for a tiny hotel room in Robbinsville for a night isn't gona happen!
Treehouse Lodging Available There are still 2 treehouses available at Rivers Edge Treehouses in Robbinsville. This will be their second season of operation and I have to admit, I loved them so much at MSSD that I have one booked for MOTD. The cost is $149 a night and it includes a continental breakfast delivered the night before so they don't disturb you in the morning. If interested check out their site riversedgeterehouses.com
My son and I never have trouble getting a spot you just have to tell them your with MOTD. We usable don't get there till Thursday but your welcome to shair our camp sight.
That sounds good! That will make you hard to see at night. When I get up in the middle of the night half asleep. I'll try not to steep on you or um well never mind.:yikes::lol::lol:
I want to find out who effing Fontana rented my cabin to before I even had a chance to reserve it for this year. :incazzato::mad5: I always reserve the same cabin at check out and the front desk they said it was already reserved for 2015 to someone else. ( WTF Pissed off) FONTANA has always let the people stay in the cabin reserve it for the next year first. I will be getting our old cabin back for MOTD 14 (2016)
Oh we still have the girls cabin and this years will be right behind our real cabin 3rd up the hill on the right. I forget the exact number and I am not getting up to go to my office and look at the paperwork.
Shoulda gave the guy who takes the top floor of the round house the boot... We only seen him what, once last year!
No that guy is ok and he is very quite. It's like having "sling blade" above you. Plus it's not his fault it's Fontanas issue.
Where would be a good place to stay, everything looks booked up? I would be all down for roughing it, But I will have my lady and probably our pups with us so that is out of the question!
