    Hi folks,

Planning to install brake ducts. This will eliminate my factory foglights. So also thinking about going to a lower-grille mount 4 light configuration with driving and fog lights. I have an aero front bumper.

I know several options are available. Who likes what, and why?

Ideally, I'd like something that could "quick release" - unplug the lights, pull a couple of easy-to-access pins or bolts, and the lights and bar come off (for track days, mostly). I may have to design and build something myself to accomplish that...

Any success or horror stories are appreciated.

I know the Alta light bar is easily removable. You can remove it with two bolts. You will have the support bars hanging but you can remove those as well by taking off your bumper support... But since the removing is for track days I am sure the two supports (bars) wont affect anything really.

I ran these for a little while a couple of years ago.

Totally custom (originally designed to mount to the upper grill) - not easily removed:rolleyes5:

I don't know what is out on the market today, but finding something that it quick release, and able to deal w/ that lower grill may be a bit of a trick. I tapped the aluminum bumper, but you had to remove the whole bumper skin to get to them.

Good luck - let us know what you find.

Alta's looking pretty good. I've seen some folks with a four-light install where the lights are more fully contained within the lower grill opening... would really like something more like that...
