I have my seat all the way down and would like to drop it an extra inch if I could. Anyone fabricated anything to do this?

I'm 6'1'' and not hitting the headliner or anything, but prefer to sit lower in the car. Low but upright....not hooptie lean back low.

Eventually I'd like to get some mitsu EVO X recaros in there, but my wallet is telling me to take a look at the stock brackets this weekend.

I have thought about the same thing. Let me know if you have any luck.

I am 6 and wanted a little more head room. I fabricated my own seat mounts that went all the way to the floor. I also made a bracket to retain the use of the stock seat belt so I was not confined to using the Harness all the time. It was a PITA. But I was very happy with the end project.

Below is a picture with a friend that is just over 6ft sitting in my MINI

Your brackets put your seats about the same height as my corbeau sliders do for my CR1's.

The brackets are 1/4 between floor and seat mounting holes. LOW is good!!
