It is that time of year again folks. Many of us that normally post on a regular or semi-regular basis will be off in the woods. Internet access is pretty darn crappy in that part of the world. This means a few things....

    1. You won't see a lot of pictures and posts from the venue till many of us get back.

    2. Traffic on the site will be slow for about a week, starting today and getting less and less as the week goes on. This is normal and will pick up again. Please don't lament the fact that things may go unanswered for a few days.

    3. Site management, mainly me, will be out of touch for a few days. I will check in once or twice a day, will also check email now and again too.

Your patience in receiving a reply from me is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for supporting Motoring Alliance

Nathan I know you have WiFi at the main lodge and we have WiFi at our house on the porch from the General Store. It's not the best, actually it's more like 1987 AOL dial up but it works.

I will try and post stuff from Fontana when I can and hopefully upload some pictures also.

Yes, there is WIFI. but there are also like 1000 people trying to connect to the same T1 line. I will admit I get to connect to the properties other T1 reserved for their use so it's not as awful.

It's not that there isn't access, it's just trying to send a city's worth of water through a straw instead of a 20in main.

I'll try and post pics also and updates but it's true the WiFi levees something to be desired.

Nate, really like the MOTD header. Best one by far yet.

There is ONE picture I really am looking forward to seeing, the sooner, the better...:D

As for headers, for the month of April, a MANA header is pretty much a must, and at some point, a MA one with "Motor On" incorporated would do nicely.

Man, I really need to try and make it down there next year....

Have a great week, guys...wish I could have made it this year

And I just left N. Alabama Saturday to get back to PA....I drove right by all the exits of I-40 for the North Carolina Smoky Mountain sites

It really hurt to drive by and not be able to stop in for a day or two...grrrr, to quote Blink 182: Work Sucks

I always thought Nathan emitted his own wee fee signal...

Everywhere else here does suck for any kind of phone or computer.

We will miss you this year PAC.

Oh and yes you can run your V1 radar in VA without any issues. Me and Marzo just did it the whole way down 81 on the way to the Dragon. Saved us a few times last night.
