Spoke with Lance over at MAG today. They are going to have a thing for the F56 Launch on April 19 from 10ish ...till. Is there a fun way from Donuts to the New MAG as opposed to circumnavigating 270?
Got my skinny jeans and my American Apparel lumberman shirt but can't find my Ray Bans or my man purse..... Still searchin though... I'll be the one wearing the red Dr Dre Beats headphones talking to the sales guy about matching the F56 colors to my wardrobe....
This is funny. MoM is planning a protest march on the local MINI dealer. Very 1960'ish. No draft cards anymore, so are you going to burn your expired warranty cards instead.:lol:
It has nothing to do with location and more to do with public perception and marketing. Holding an event like that on Easter weekend often results in low participation. If I were a MINI dealer, I'd want my bash for the unveiling of the F56 to be the most important thing happening in my community that weekend.
Maybe deep down, the dealer already perceives the unpopularity of the F56 and is just having the "event" to satisfy the top brass. Take heart, though, at least the M0M club will be there after gorging themselves on donuts! Can you imagine all the donut-greased finger smears on those shiny new cars?
The F56 eggs would all need to be a dark colour (salute to the Brit's), or else they won't get picked up....
OMGGGGGGGGGG...dang, I just HAVE TO get new glasses! For a moment I had misread your comment, Jim, and thought of you doing a crude imitation of my dog and his lolly-pup!
^^^^^:lol::lol::lol: I love the new F56 everyone should buy one just don't park it in my driveway.
Knowing MAGs history with our group I think the Easter weekend makes sense they might think we gave up bitching about service for lent. Can someone confirm we will be able to test drive? I really want to drive a new one in hopes that the 4 door concept becomes reality and is fun to drive.
I got an invite to the launch party MAG is having for the new A3 and it specifically calls out test drives, so you would think that they would allow test drives for at least the Justa.
