Guess they didn't consider me keeping the car this long but oh well.
My silencer is rattling like crazy, found the weld at can to pipe has given up.
Anyone placed a warranty claim and gotten this part replaced, no longer have paper work only worn out part.
    Any suggestions?

If every thing else is solid... You might just get a new resonator and have the bad piece replaced....

Or just have it welded back together?

High on the list, me thinks. So much for Life Time Warranty's.
Life Time Warranty = just a bunch of impossible hoops to jump through and waste time on.

After I had the Magnaflow muffler welded back together 4 times I said F-it and bought a Borla. Much better fit and construction.

I've had to do a couple warranty claims for customers as we've seen several cracked and they weren't happy about it, but they did cover it.

I've done the most warranty claims on Borla exhausts though, every borla I've seen on a MINI has had at least one crack if not more. I had one I counted 7 cracks in. Hence why I don't recommend them.
