Kia Track'ster concept is a self-contained 250-hp AWD track star 250 hp, all wheel drive, Brembo brakes, 2 drs, optimized for track duty!??!?!? And all at Kia prices.....
Well, just because you throw all the ingredients for the recipe into the pot, does not mean you'll end up with a cake. I recall a Hyundai was positioning its Genesis coupe to be the M3 slayer. :frown2:
I'm pretty sure pure fart is an oxymoron. Man that thing was beaten with the fugly stick for sure. :yikes:
LOL Ok, back on topic..... I don't think that's the best-lookig car, but I think Kia has made a lot of improvements over the years in reliability and products.
The MINI Paceman could easily go this direction, but it would cost $55K in a JCW version! I don't think it looks great by any means, but if you can buy one of these for around 20K and it actually does perform.......well, it makes you go Hmmmmm...... It certainly has the specs.......maybe this is just them responding to the hideous but interesting Nissan Juke "R"
I'm going to confirm many folks suspicions. I think the Joke looks better that the KIA. I have nothing against little trucklets in fact I like them. I just find the thought of a high performance trucklet kind of funny.
:cornut: Correct me if I'm wrong but, 19in wheels are the most likely to self destruct and Discount Tire(I know for a fact) won't even let them in the store(the little Farts:lol.Yeah or Nay? Jason
Well, I know some of the big guys (Porsche, Ferrari, etc.) use 19 inch rims, but of course they are trying to clear some monster sized brakes. My M5 rides on stock 19's because of that same reason. But looking at the pic in OP, them 19's are there for form more than function.
2013 Veloster Turbo, It's only down by 49 hp and two undriven wheels or plop that body on the track star drive train.
Y'all did read the accompanying article, right? It's a concept..... However, Kia and Hyundai both have a habit of showing "concepts" 6 months before they hit the dealer's showrooms. No reason why it couldn't come with 18's or even 17's, I don't know why you all are so fixated on the wheel size......
IDK.... Those front Brembo's look to be quite large. You think 17's would still clear them? So is this Kia's nod to Mini with the design cue of color coding the roof and mirror caps?
