LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A bizarre incident on the road ended with a woman in the hospital and a suspect in custody early Monday morning. Police say a suspect repeatedly rammed his pickup truck into a Mini Cooper carrying two people. The incident started just after midnight at Sunset Boulevard and Hyperion Avenue in Silver Lake, and continued for more than a mile to Hoover and Temple streets. Police say the man eventually stepped out of his truck with a shotgun in his hand. No shots were fired, and it was later determined that the shotgun was not loaded. The suspect was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. A woman inside the Mini Cooper was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries. The motive remains under investigation. WOW that sucks for the MINI driver but she looked ok getting into the Ambulance. She needs hospital documentation for her law suit to come later because the CM is totaled. Did you see the bumpers on that truck. Do you think the LAPD could have sent more officers? I counted like 15 and they guy was already arrested with the gun behind his truck.
Are you sure it would be totaled, Dave? It was kind of hard to tell how damaged it, being a CM and all. LOL
