Good stuff... That was a longer autocross track than what we have down here.. granted I've not done autocross in last 7 - 8 years though.. Need to go check that out again. :D

It’s a lot of fun. And it’s cheap. Get back out there!

Planning on it... already put a few HPDE's on the calendar as reminders. Now I need to start looking at Autocross stuff... I also need to get a set of wheels/tires for those events. I looked at your garage page.. you are running Federals? I'm not familiar with those.. guess I have some research to do.

Federal RSR’s is what I used tread rating 140. They are cheap $375 shipped for all four. I best tire would be the re71’s or Rival’s these have the tread rating 200 and can be used in the stock class’s.

Surpriseingly the Federal’s worked great for me. No real complaints. That’s what I used in this video and there from last year. Not sure the mileage, but I drove to all my events and to Michagin (8 hours) and back.

Depending on what you’v done to your Mini will determined what class you run. Feel free to ask any questions and go have some fun!!!

Thanks - I need to look I to that for sure. Mine would would be in the mods class (forgot the old name)... as it has suspension, Franken turbo, Manic etc.. assume probably the same class you are in since you have a stage 3 Manic tune.

I am looking at Hankook R-S4s. I really liked the track characteristics of the R-S3s. They were streetable enought o drive to and from the track on while still having grip at high speeds for 20-30 min run sessions.

Little of A and a little of B.

From my other threrad it seems that the Dunlop Starspec IIIs are the way to go over the Hankook R-S4s.
