Up for sale is a Factory 6 Disc CD Changer out of my 2002 R53. This should fit all 1st Gen MINI's and as I understand they were all prewired for it(someone please correct me if I am wrong). This installs in the boot on the passenger side. Included is the mounting bracket and 6 Disc magazine. The mounting bracket does has some scratches on it, other than that it is in excellent condition and working fine.

    CD Changer has been SOLD

The six disc magzine is $60 bucks alone, the bracket is $40....The unit retails for $595. Its like buying the bracket and magazine and getting the unit for FREE. This is a great price for this unit.

    Good luck with the sale......

I think you had to have the 6 disc changer prep in the build of the MINI.

Well one way I know to check, there is a door in the boot on the passengers side. Open it and check for two wires with plugs that look like this:

But thanks for the info. :D

My MINI is an 06 & it had the wiring for the changer in the car. I used that wiring for my Blitzsafe XM combination. Not sure which years have the wiring. I'd bet it is common though.
