Has anyone had trouble using the factory car jack and had trouble putting the spare "Mini-me" tire back under the car? Help!

When I first got my car (and before I bought a floor jack), I used the factory car jack to install aftermarket wheels and had no problems. What trouble did you have?

Putting the spare back under the car was tricky. As you know (I hope) you remove the spare by releasing it and lowering it from inside the luggage compartment with the long lifting handle. Replacing it is the reverse but it's unwieldy keeping it properly aligned while lifting. It helps if you lift in stages. First lift part of the way and slide something under the spare to prop it up. Then you can shift it around to align and have a shorter distance to lift the rest of the way.

:cornut: (08 R56 MCS/JCWm) No problem with the Jack. I carry a full sized mounted, balanced, and inflated spare tire in the Boot. No Run Flats or temporary Doughnuts(apologies to Crashton:lol:) on 'MINI Margi.'
