Working together, mankind can move mountains… or at least a car blocking a tram lane. A group of people demonstrated exemplary teamwork in Nottingham recently after a woman decided to leave her car blocking a tram’s path while she went shopping. Passengers in the next tram to come along felt it grind to a halt as the path remained blocked. Bystanders reportedly waited for the owner of the red Mini Cooper to return before they decided to take matters into their own hands. As the crowd continues to swell, a small group nudged and dragged the car out of the way. In a classic case of ‘too many cooks…’, at first the guys fail to work as a team, with everyone seemingly pulling the vehicle in different directions. Eventually they yield as one, and shift the car out of the way, allowing the tram to continue its journey. Before the crowd disperses, the guilty driver returns to the scene of the crime, where she is promptly ticketed by a waiting policeman. She takes it on the chin though, and even cracks a smile as the crowd applauds her. Student Billy Taylor, who filmed the incident said: ‘When she drove away everyone started cheering. I think she was very embarrassed.’ To further her embarrassment, #TramVSCooper even started trending on Twitter shortly after the stand off.
They should have trammed it outta the way. That would have been a great life lesson for the MINI driver. :yesnod:

Haha! Actually, yes, I have been shopping as a matter of fact! However, that now (in)famous Mini is not mine...mine's an S! That appears to be a Justa. :yesnod:
Oh...I posted this somewhere else. I shall delete it. BBC News - Bystanders lift car to end 'stand-off' with tram
I would have hit that Justa with the tram if I was driving. People are so stupid and we don't have an app for that. :mad2:
