AutomotiveNews reports that Mini dealerships have been invited to Helsinki, Finland, where MINI is said to be unveiling its next generation MINI Cooper hatchback. After its debut, the new MINI is said to be available for sale in March 2014 and is the first car to use BMW’s new compact modular architecture. This architecture, also known as UKL, will provide the basis of 10-12 future MINI and BMW compacts with front-wheel drive. Not much else has been shared about what to expect with this next generation MINI. Either way, we shall soon find out sometime this week.
Very interesting, I expect this to be a no camera allowed event. I just want to see the damn thing already!
