Mini News MINI US Sales January 2012 up 21.2% over January 2011

    MINI USA reported sales of 3,334 automobiles in January, an increase of 21.2 percent from the 2,751 sold in January 2011.

    Hardtop sales showed a slight gain. Convertible sales are down 43%. Clubman sales are down 36%. The Countryman is carrying the brand right now with sales up 84% over the same period last year.

    It will be interesting to see how much the Roadster adds to the mix come springtime.

    I have noticed a lot more mini's on the roads in my area in Tennessee.

    I think the Roadster will be a huge hit. If I were MINI I'd drop the Convertible

    MINI Canada reports best January sales ever

    The MINI brand reported its best-ever January with 201 units retailed, an increase of 27 per cent over the same period in 2011.

    I'm sure the unseasonably warm weather experienced by most of the country in January didn't hurt these stats.
