Ahh but as the BMW pricing gods have told us numerous times before, MINI is a premium car and therefore commands a premium price. :D

And the price is?! NOT WORTH IT. A starting price of 37k is f'n insane. If the new countryman is supposed to save MINI sales MINI will fail, They're pricing themselves right out of the U.S. market. You can get a Focus RS for those #'s.

Right?! They think consumers are so stupid, but they're the ones losing in the end. MINI failing=BMW failing. It's baffling that every gen MINI has it's own set of issues of varying severity. They'd rather redesign instead of research and develop to improve overall quality, which isn't even on their radar. It doesn't seem anyways.
They can call it premium all they want, but the materials used and the longevity of those materials tells a different story. BMW can drop a duce in a box and mark it premium, but the quality of that s**t is only as good as the McDonalds they used to produce it. I used to really like BM'r, but a manufacturer not putting in the time and quality it takes to keep a customer will only hurt them.
I used to work for Metalcraft of Mayville, they produce Scag commercial mowers. Arguably thee best mowers on the market for years. NOTHING was changed unless R&D had tested and tested and tested and tested etc. for at least 2 years. With the failure rate of some MINI components I'm surprised the people in charge of engineering some of this crap still have jobs. MINI needs to drain the swamp :cornut: and Start over with a snail powered 250hp R53 :beer With R56 suspension and brakes.

^^^ Can you really be in the car business and the clothing and manbag business at the same time and be any good at either?
