MINI USA reported sales of 4,320 automobiles in December, an increase of 23.8 percent from the 3,489 in December 2009, making it the most successful December ever for MINI in the USA. That's what I was thinking. Makes me want to pick up another one so neither of us are driving the Harley F-150. Or, I guess I could just fix/complete one of the Mustangs.
They're talking like we could see $4-5 gallon prices this summer. Remember what happened last time gas hit $4? The only MINI you could buy was a new, ordered one. Used ones were bringing almost new car prices too.... Cost me $37 to fill up this morning and I still had 3 candy corns lit up.
Yeah, even in LATE 2008 when the peak prices were over, it still made no sense to buy a used one for us. Between the incredible resale and the used ones typically having more options than we wanted, the savings was practically negligible. Maybe THAT's how I can get my wife to buy another MINI.
We added to the January stats with our CM. I hope both our MINIs get 28-32 around here with the cold and altitude. Our Jeep was killing us, closing in on $60 for a full fill. Now I can just keep it at a half tank to motor around the town. Don
That was when I ordered mine and why I opted for the justa. My wife was dragging her feet, saying her Explorer was paid for, but now the gas savings would almost make the payment. Jim
