    I had a boss who would leave poorly spelled/punctuated instructional signs all over the workplace, I would correct them with a red sharpie and leave a grade.

    It drove him nuts and he never found out who was doing it.

    When I was teaching (grad school, so theses, etc.) I bought my red pens by the box.

    As a Brit, I was really surprised that Eats, Shoots & Leaves (The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation) was so popular in the US - as indeed I believe were its publishers.
