    I was tempted to take my vacation in Mallorca this year, but I think that will be my destination next year.

    Looks like there is some savings to be had in beach attire. But I would need to increase my suntan lotion budget.

    My best friend is from Gallicia, so I know I'm going there to stay with her for a bit. Probably Barcelona to visit my mother's friend. Other than that, I'm open to suggestions!

    Hi Annette:

    For me, Galicia is one of the most beautiful places of Spain. Maintain a pristine landscapes and is one of the areas with the best food in Spain .... and cheap. In general throughout the north coast.

    Barcelona is another story, a beautiful city, very cosmopolitan and modern, but with much history ...... and with sea

    What kind of vacation you like? More beach or relaxing or sightseeing more, cities and history.

    Sorry for my English is horrible :(

    MINIVITO, your English is wonderful. You should be proud of yourself.

    I am more into history and culture when I travel overseas. I love to see beautiful landscapes, historic towns and buildings, etc. To me, beaches are for sitting, sunning and reading, which I can do here, so no way am I going to waste time on that when I am in another country! I also love to try local foods and am excited about some of the festivals I've heard that Spain is famous for.
