We need a new logo for MINIs In The Mountains 2011 so why don't make a contest of it. Rules: 1. All submitted art work must be at least 300 pixels/inch and provided in both jpeg and eps formats. 2. Everything submitted becomes the property of MINI5280 and no, you won't get any royalties. 3. Three types of art must be submitted - We would suggest they all tie together somehow. 8-1/2" x 11" letter head 3" grille badge T-Shirt. 4. We choose the winner and no amount of graft or corruption will change our mind (though you are free to try). 5. No boobies or family-unfriendly themes. 6. We can change the rules at any time for no apparent reason. 7. Email to: [email protected] before 10:49 PM January 31, 2011 to even be considered. Prize: 1 complimentary two-bedroom condo at Fraser Crossing / Founders Pointe for August 4 - August 7, 2011 (valued at $650)

@Johngo, It is at Winter Park, Colorado for 2011 for the 2nd year, previous years were held in Cooper Mountain. I think Chuck and the MITM WP planning group are looking for fresh ideas, so anything goes. Don
I believe that Winter Park was using that very same "WP" logo back in 1969, when I made my first trip there. Very cool. I guess they don't have the ice sculptures in front of the lodge when you all are up there. :frown2: Jim

Another question for the ignerant (Yes, I spelled it incorrectly on purpose): What is the 5280 reference? And does it need to be included?
Club name is MINI5280 - 5280 is a ref. to Denver being 1 mile high! And I would say yes, 5280 should be incorporated along with WP (Winter Park). Just my take on the onion, Chuck my have another idea. Don
I really did not specifically say that MINI5280 has to be in the logo but since we pour our hearts and souls into putting on this event, it would be nice to get a little credit. That said, it is totaly open except as noted.
The name of our club is MINI5280 but I would never stand in the way of an artist and their creative visions.
I won't go into "creative visions" just because of the narcotics needed to make them happen, but perhaps a bit o' history for us East Coast "hill-landers" so we know the score? I am playing with it now. I hope I can make this gathering... I haven't been to CO since I lived in Boulder in the late '70s. :eek6: Damn, I am getting old.
