Through the MINI grapevine I heard that Snooter gave out some awards at the Welcome dinner. First was Nathan who was recognized for all he does for the event. From helping to promote the event on the site to taking the weight off Barry's (Snooter) shoulders during MOTD by running registration and collecting donations for the Graham County Food Bank. PittStop MINI was also recognized as the club that helps out with the ever popular Bingo Night and Draggin Dragons. Jack (MINIBee) was also recognized for all the work he does in helping all the new Dragon Drivers and the videos he creates. Congrats to all.
An outstanding event...sincere thanks to all that organize, volunteer, and take their valuable time to provide for the rest of us.
Where were you hiding? I never managed to find you, but I did see Blimey briefly as he flew past. :lol: Jim
If you saw Blimey you most likely saw me in hot pursuit or the other way around...lol. We wore it out as usual, leaving early and not getting back till late afternoon. Blimey truly is the "Great Road Master", had a blast! I was up on vendor row hanging with Jan & Colin most the rest of the time... Hoped to meet ya and go for that ride but never saw you.... Did you do the midnight run?
Darn, wasn't Jan working out of the G4 Tent and I was there too, so I must have seen ya and not known it. Maybe next year, because I still want that ride. Jim
Yep at the G4 tent, a great bunch of guys I might add and they make some pretty sweet products which I have some of on my car!!! It was crazy busy up there with Jan doing one tune after another, bet we rubbed shoulders and didn't even realize.. We'll plan better next time and double up on the runs for sure!!!
I'll bet we did. I got a wing and a splitter and hung around there most of the time, when I wasn't wandering around aimlessly buying things I knew I would need someday. Their stuff is great and we will plan better next year. Jim
