What: A little road trip to the Scottsbluff National Monument near Scottsbluff Nebraska. Toss in a few twisty roads, a barbeque dinner, jam session, a night at Barn Anew B&B and a visit to the Coca-Cola museum and you have the makings of a great weekend. When: 8am Saturday June 4th MINI of Loveland parking lot. Details: Leave MOL and head up to Ft. Collins and Poudre Canyon to Walden and Laramie. Then up through Wheatland and Torrington along the historic Oregon Trail. Land at the Barn Anew around 3pm and take a drive up the monument before a western barbeque dinner and a local artist jam session. Relax in the western themes of this 100 year old refurbished barn with four guest rooms and two authentic and restored sheep wagons. Before heading home on Sunday we will get a private showing of the famous coca-cola museum. Cost: $110/night includes BBQ & full breakfast. Wagons $15 less/night. The wagons are pretty nice really. They have been completely redone and are really cute. If no one rents those I know where I'm staying - way better then the floor.
