I used to track a 2007 R56 Justa Cooper, and never had to lift to let anyone except Spec Miatas by.

Last Spring I passed it on to my daughter and now have a 2011 Spice Orange/Black S that I've had out on the track a few times.

The other day I did a really bad thing. Coming out of a turn with a 350Z behind I gave a point by and dropped the hammer.

Surprise for me, I pulled away.

My car is bone stock except for TSW springs, camber plates, and NT-01s mounted on 15" wheels.

So I did a little back of the excel spreadsheet calculation and figured out that my MINI was indeed faster than a 350Z getting to 100 mph from 30. Sure the Z has a lot more power and torque, but it also weighs 800 lbs more and is trying to get that power to the ground through 18" wheels.

I took this info back to my Father in Law, and he's developed an application that will speed versus distance. We're looking for a torque curve for the 2011 plus MINI S to do some testing, can anyone help?
