I just bought my first Mini today! Proud owner of an 08 Clubman, it's a Justa, automatic, with 85,000 miles. Don't know much else. Open to all questions and/or advice.

Welcome my best Bud & Wife just bought an 08 justa clubster. I love it as does she. I have taken to driving it whenever I can. Sweet rides those justa clubsters.

    Welcome to M/A :)

My first bit of advice is to change the oil & go over all maintenance items to make sure they are current. The justas are proving to be very reliable.

The dealer said they just changed the oil but I would bet they used cheap Dino oil, I figured I would switch to Mobil synthetic unless there's something else you guys recommend

I'd recommend Mobile 1 0w40 synthetic. It is what I use in our MINI's. The justa Clubster is a very easy car to change the oil on. There is a nice write up in the library here by Chad of Detroit tuned on how to change the oil.

You will need an 8mm hex whench for the drain plug & a 27mm socket for the filter. Use an oem or Mann filter. The oem comes with with a crush washer, the Mann does not so you will need to source one if you go with a Mann.

While you are at it check the air filter & cabin air filter.
