Hi y'all. I joined today, but I've had my MINI since 2005. It's a Chili Red/White (Union Jack Cooper Flag) MCS with the JCW engine kit. It has 4 pkgs, HK, LSD, rear foglight, driving lights, euro parcel shelf, and Park Distance. When it was 2 years old, I added the JCW brakes, JCW Suspension, and an R-Speed rear sway bar. I used it as a daily driver for 3 years and racked up about 90K miles. I bought a Honda Civic to use as a commuter car in 2008, and it has kept another 135K miles off the MINI. I still feel the same way about my MINI as the day I brought it home. I've never owned a car that I've enjoyed as much. Since I have ~96K miles on the MINI now, I was researching the best way to deal with the supercharger rear gears/water pump problem. I ran across some good posts by agranger on another MINI forum, then learned of his entries in this site's library. After looking through the Library, I thought I'd join up and say hi to everybody. Once I do an intense preventive maintenance program on my MINI, I think I am going to start driving it again about 4-5K miles per year. I got it out and drove it a little today, and I'm remembering what I'm missing... Rawhyde
Here are a few quick pics I snapped yesterday... I know I'm biased, but I think it's held up fairly well for 7 years and 96K miles.... Rawhyde
Hey Rawhyde! If you want to run with some "locals," the Georgia Mini Auto Club may be for you! Welcome to MA! Nice MINI, and you will enjoy it!
