Hey folks! Just introducing myself as a new member here to the forum And to mini! Scored myself a 2006 cooper S for an amazing price and I've always wanted one so I couldn't say no! Engine had a broken guide and chain jumped so it's a full time project at the moment but I'm really excited to get it going! Just wanted to say hello and be warned I may ask a lot of questions! :cornut: Looking forward to being a part of the forum!
2006 is an awesome year for the Cooper S. Congratulations, welcome and show us what'chu got! All questions welcomed, all answers free. Not necessarily always free of sarcasm though.
Picked the right year and color combo, you're off to a great start. But you have to do something about those rims, I can feel my frontal cortex (or what's left of it) pulsating with all sorts of sarcasm about ready to erupt in a Vesuvian outburst of epic proportions full of naughty words and bad grammar.
I don't think the site is friendly, Gnat! After all, you stated you "kicked me to the curb" right before locking my thread... Doesn't seem too friendly to me. Sounds pretty aggressive... Maybe, in your case, passive aggressive... More your style... Hmmm.
Welcome to M\A. Pay no attention to the last guy that posted he is all butt hurt because he does not listen.
Well, not exactly. He listened, but was still butt hurt. That's probably an even more painful type of butt hurt. I'm glad he's here. Since Dick finally saw the light, it's been kind of boring.
. Haha that's awesome, thanks for the warms welcomes. As for the rims, I'm definitely looking to make some changes. Been poking around on a few different websites and suppliers to see what's out there that would look decent as far as aesthetics goes and also for performance. As far as colour combo goes, I'm actually really liking it more now, at first I wasn't too crazy. As for location! I'm in Ontario Canada. Been actually trying to find a club up here that has regular meets and so on so if anyone knows of a group in the gta area, please let me know!
